US trade shows

These are the US shows that matter for Chinese factories selling into the US discount, liquidation, and home-goods channel. We've ranked them by how much buyer density they bring to your category. The top 5 are where most of our factory clients start.

Status. 2027 dates confirmed live from show organizers' websites. 2026 dates noted where relevant. Booth costs vary by hall and stand size; visitor badges are typically free with preregistration.

Tier 1 - top shows for the US discount channel

1. ASD Market Week

When: March 2-4, 2027 + August 2027 (Las Vegas Convention Center)
Why: The single best US show for the discount channel. Heavy dollar-store, closeout, and off-price buyer attendance.
Best for: broad consumer goods, home goods, value-channel merchandise.

2. Inspired Home Show (IHA)

When: March 9-11, 2027 (McCormick Place, Chicago)
Why: Top US show for housewares, kitchen, small home appliances. Mass-market buyers (Walmart, Target, Dollar General, Five Below) walk this show. International sourcing pavilions host Chinese factories.
Best for: housewares, kitchenware, small home appliances, storage, organization, pet products.

3. Tupelo Furniture Market

When: Winter February 16-18, 2027 + Fall (historically August/September)

Why: The most discount-channel-relevant furniture show in the US. Long-standing reputation among closeout furniture buyers and liquidators.
Best for: closeout furniture, B-stock, customer-return merchandise, manufacturer overruns.

4. High Point Market

When: Spring (April) + Fall (October 17-21, 2026 confirmed)
Venue: High Point, NC
Why: Largest home furnishings market in the world by showrooms. Brand positioning, trend forecasting, design scouts.
Best for: mid-market furniture, home furnishings, lighting, rugs.
Caveat: Mid-to-upper market. Discount buyers come for the closeout showrooms around the periphery, not the main showrooms.

5. Hardlines Supplier Event (formerly National Hardware Show)

When: March 9-10, 2027 (Las Vegas Convention Center)
Why: Critical for hardware factories. Hardware retailers (Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, True Value, Do it Best, Orgill) walk this show. Strong on private-label programs.
Best for: hardware, tools, paint sundries, plumbing, electrical, lawn & garden.
Caveat: Show rebranded as "Hardlines Supplier Event" for 2027 - verify with the organizer that the new format still fits your needs.

6. Las Vegas Market

When: January 24-28, 2027 (Winter); Summer July

Tier 2 - important to know, lower priority for first entry

10. NHPA Independent Home Improvement Conference

When: Historically mid-year (2027 date TBD)
Why: Independent hardware retailers (Ace, True Value, Do it Best, Orgill members). Independent channel is more open to imported SKUs than big-box.

What we don't recommend (wrong verticals)

These shows exist but aren't the right fit for furniture, soft home, or general consumer goods factories selling into the discount / closeout channel:

Note: The list above is for factories selling into the discount / closeout channel. If your factory makes building products (cabinetry, kitchen, bath, flooring, tile, lighting, smart home, windows/doors, building hardware, remodeling tools), your buyers are at KBIS + IBS 2027, not at the discount-channel shows above. We have an active pavilion recruitment.

Attending on your own vs. with us

If you're a factory owner going to your first US show, expect: $3,000-$15,000 booth cost, $2,000-$5,000 travel, 3-5 days on the ground. ASD and High Point are easier first shows than Las Vegas Market (less competitive, more international sourcing pavilions).

If you want introductions to specific US buyers walking these shows, tell us what you make and we'll connect you with the right buyer desks. We attend the top US shows ourselves and can bridge you in.
