We introduce your factory to specific US buyers in our network. They
become your direct customer relationship. We step back after the
intro.
What's included
Buyer identification from our network (matches based on category,
volume, channel)
One-page introduction document prepared for each buyer
Forwarded intro email with appropriate context
Coordination if buyer wants samples or more info
Logging of buyer response (interested / passed / not now)
What's NOT included
Ongoing sales follow-up after the intro (use sales outsourcing for
that)
Pricing negotiation (we don't take a margin)
Sample shipping (you cover)
Trade show introductions (use show coordination for that)
Buyer list access (we don't share our contact list)
Pricing
Flat fee per introduction
$300-500 per introduction, non-refundable
We tell you upfront whether we think the intro is high-probability
or low-probability
Commission (alternative)
No upfront fee
5-10% of net sales that close within 12 months of the intro
Only applies to sales where we made the introduction
Most factories start with flat fee for clarity, then switch to
commission once they're confident in our network.
What "introduction" means
We forward a one-page document to the buyer. The document has:
Your factory name and primary contact
Product categories you make
Why we're introducing you (the buyer's needs we know about that
match what you make)
Sample availability or photo link
We don't send pricing. Pricing comes from you directly, after
the buyer responds.
When this service isn't a fit
You want a US sales team. Use sales outsourcing.
You want a buyer list. We don't share lists.
You want to be introduced to TJX / Ross / Dollar Tree corporate.
Those companies don't accept cold vendor intros. We introduce to
their existing vendors, agents, and consolidators.
What we need from you
2-page factory profile (from Market research)
Photos of product
1-2 minute self-introduction in English (or 简, we translate)
Any specific buyers you've identified you want to meet
Typical outcomes
For every 10 introductions:
3-5 buyers respond (interested or "not right now")
1-2 buyers request samples
0-1 buyers place a first order within 6-12 months
These rates vary by category, fit, and your responsiveness after the
intro. Faster response = higher conversion.
Common mistakes we avoid
Intro to the wrong buyer
Some factories want intros to TJX, Dollar Tree, Home Depot corporate.
Those don't work. We tell you which intros are worth trying and which
aren't.
No follow-up after the intro
The buyer's interest drops 50% within 2 weeks of first contact. If
you don't respond quickly, you lose the deal.
We track buyer response times and nudge you if you fall behind.
Quoting too high or too low
A factory that quotes 30% above market gets passed. A factory that
quotes 30% below market sets up a bad relationship.
We give you market benchmarks before the intro so your first quote
is in the right range.
What success looks like
A buyer introduction is successful when:
The buyer responded (interested or "not now")
You sent a sample or quote within 2 weeks
The buyer evaluated and either ordered or passed
If passed, you understand why (and we adjust the next intro)
Success rate of 10-20% (1-2 orders out of 10 intros) is realistic
over 12 months.
What happens if the buyer passes
Buyers pass for many reasons:
Wrong category fit. We learn and adjust future intros.
Wrong timing. Their sourcing calendar doesn't match. We try
again in 6 months.
Wrong volume. Their MOQ is bigger than your capacity. We find
a smaller buyer.
Wrong pricing. Your quote is out of range. We adjust.
Pre-existing relationship. They already have a vendor for
your category.
If the buyer passes for a reason we didn't anticipate, we discuss
with you and decide whether to keep trying that buyer or move on.
When commission is the right choice
Use commission when:
You have working capital to invest in inventory (the cost of
fulfilling the first order)
You want the lowest upfront cost
You trust us to identify the right buyers
Use flat fee when:
You want to budget a specific cost
You're not sure you'll convert (and don't want to commit to
commission)
You want to test 5-10 introductions before committing long-term
